Comedy Nights with Kapil host Kapil Sharma flirting with Katrina Kaif, his Dadi giving shagun ki papi to MS Dhoni right before T20 World Cup or Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking his Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to next level through the hit show. Well, if only wishing helped nurse our broken hearts. It is no news that popular comic caper Comedy Nights with Kapil have gone off-air. But if this was not saddening enough, COLORS channel decided not air final episode of Kapil Sharma’s hit show was not aired on January 17, Sunday. The leading entertainment channel COLORS was deemed less colourful by disheartened Comedy Nights with Kapil fans. The last episode of successful CNWK show featured Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur to promote their upcoming movie Airlift. The reason why channel dropped the final episode is being attributed to COLORS differences with Comedy Nights with Kapil host Kapil Sharma. While the audiences are left fuming over this saddening action, we take a look at nine celebrities who we would have loved to see on the Comedy Nights with Kapil show.
1. Narendra Modi
Having Indian Prime Minister on the show was Kapil Sharma’s biggest dream. Last year, the CNWK host and actor had said, “My biggest desire is to have Narendra Modi Sir as a guest on Comedy Nights with Kapil.” #WeWantNamoOnCNWK has been one of the top trends on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
2. Mahendra Singh Dhoni
What would have been ideal doctor’s prescription for Indian T20 and ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to get back to winning ways? Shagun ki pappi from Bittu Sharma’s Dadi is all Dhoni needed before the start of World Cup T20 in India. The audiences would have loved to have the two small town turned iconic celebrities in respective fields chat on the show. Dhoni had once paid a surprise visit on Comedy Nights with Kapil sets.
3. Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif was asked how she felt over the show going off-air especially it was huge platform to promote movies. The actress said she has ‘deep regret’ for not being on the show ever. Katrina Kaif is ready with her upcoming movie release Fitoor with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Tabu. Oh, how badly I wish she graced Kapil Sharma’s show!
4. Sachin Tendulkar
Having the God of Cricket on the show is what every viewer dreamt of. Sachin Tendulkar who always has inspirational stories to share with youngsters would have made a dream guest on Kapil Sharma’s show. Nothing can beat the excitement of listening to Sachin about exciting cricketing days and dressing room secrets.
5. Aamir Khan
While Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were a regular at Kapil’s show, it was quite surprising Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan never came on CNWK to promote his movies. Maybe the fear of overbearing Bua or desperate Dadi stopped Aamir from being Comedy Nights with Kapil guest. Whatever may have been the reason, Aamir Khan’s absence denied audiences an entertainment riot.
6. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan
The connection between Comedy Nights with Kapil and self-styled saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan is not a rocket science. CNWK actor Kiku Sharda got into legal trouble for mimicking the godman which makes us think all this could have been avoided had Guru Ram Rahim came on the show as guest. Just imagine what fun ride it would have been watching him promote his movies MSG and MSG 2.
7. Arijit Singh
Arijit Singh is undoubtedly one of the best singers in the country. And at the same time, he is also quite low profile. It would have been great to watch Kapil Sharma and his dysfunctional reel family interact with Arijit. We could have also had a singing competition between Kapil and Arijit.
8. Prabhas
Southern superstar Prabhas became a household name post the grand success of SS Rajamouli directedBahubali. With reports of him making Bollywood debut with hit franchise Dhoom, Prabhas is undoubtedly the hottest actors in country. How exciting would it be to see North Indian Kapil and South hero Prabhas interact on the show. One lovely exchange of culture is what we missed.
