Biopics are the new trend in Bollywood. Be It Bhaag Milkha Bhaag or Mary Kom, film makers are mainly focusing on contemporary sports persons who acheived big for their films. 

Few more like Azhar and Dhoni too gained immense craze among audience for their context being cricket and a movie reveals the most deep side of a player often touching the controversies too. Latest to join the list is Saina Nehwal, as Amol Gupta wants to make a film on this badminton sensation lately. 

Saina Nehwal came out speaking on rumors about a film on her life story, saying that she like Deepika Padukone to play her role in biopic if at all the movie happens. Deepika was a badminton player earlier and Saina felt that she suits the bill to T. And the long legged beauty too responded in a positive way but this whole episode has not gone well with director, they say.

Its the director's view and choice of actors, as he should be knowing better on who fits the role better. May be its just Saina's opinion and Deepika's acknowledgement, but the final call comes from director atlast! 

MS Dhoni urges fans to prepare for ICC World T20 2016

With ICC World Twenty20 2016 coming up soon, every person around is surely gearing to cheerIndia and their favorite teams across the world. So is our cricketers who are striving hard to make their stand strong in this tournament. In a similar way, Star Sports tweeted a new video on howMS Dhoni is preparing for the T20I matches with his hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani and what the fans are doing to prepare themselves for the tournament. The Tweet mentioned, “It is the fans’ turn to do their #Taiyaari to help @msdhoni & the Indian team win the #WT20. What’s your #Taiyaari?”

India’s limited over captain Dhoni has no plans of retirement as of now and will think about it after ICC World Twenty20 (T20I) 2016. Dhoni is presently focusing on the tour to Australia and believes it will be the right platform for youngsters Gurkeerat Singh, Rishi Dhawan, Varindra Sran and Manish Pandey. Before leaving for Australia, Dhoni addressed the press conference mentioning, “I think this tour is a perfect platform for the young team to show their class and talent in world stage. Dhoni recently completed 11 years since he debuted in this game and also been a year since he retired from Test cricket. There were speculation of Dhoni leading the team in ICC World T20 2016 and the lead given to Virat Kohli but Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave the throne to Dhoni and let him lead the tournament.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja and Yuvraj Singh make a comeback in the squad for T20 and One-Day International (ODI). While even Ashish Nehra is also included in the T20I squad.

IPL spot-fixing: BCCI to decide on Ajit Chandila issue this week

Mumbai: The Cricket Board's three-member disciplinary panel headed by president Shashank Manohar is to meet this week to decide on the fate of cricketers Ajit Chandila and Hiken Shah who have been alleged to have tried to fix IPL games in 2013 and this year respectively.

According to a BCCI source, the panel, which is to meet here on December 24, has the powers to impose punishment, including life bans, on the cricketers accused of trying to spot-fix IPL games.

Chandila was arrested by the police for trying to spot-fix IPL games in 2013 along with his then Rajasthan Royals teammates S Sreesanth and Ankeet Chavan who both have been banned for life by the BCCI.

The BCCI is yet to decide on the quantum of punishment to be awarded to Chandila who has been suspended from the game since the scandal broke two years ago.

The BCCI will also decide on the punishment to be awarded to Mumbai Ranji Trophy cricketer Hiken Shah for his alleged breach of the Board's anti-corruption code ahead of this year's IPL.

"Hiken Shah made a corrupt approach to one of his colleagues from first-class cricket, who is also a member of one of the IPL teams," BCCI had said in a statement in July.

"The approached player immediately informed the incident to his franchise team. The franchise team followed the process of informing the incident to the Anti Corruption Unit of the BCCI. Based on the information, BCCI President, Mr Jagmohan Dalmiya (now deceased), instructed ACU to conduct an immediate enquiry into the matter," the statement said.

"After a detailed inquiry into the reported incident, the inquiry commissioner found Hiken Shah guilty of committing breach of Articles 2.1.1; 2.1.2; and 2.1.4 of the BCCI Anti-Corruption Code for participants and recommended their provisions to the BCCI President," the statement added.

Shah is also under suspension pending the final decision by the disciplinary panel which also has Jyotiraditya Scindia and Niranjan Shah as its members.

Meanwhile, the BCCI's National Cricket Academy's Board is to meet one day earlier, on December 23, at the Cricket Centre here to "decide on the structure of the NCA and appoint batting and bowling coaches," said a Board source.

The NCA Board is headed by Niranjan Shah of Saurashtra with former Test cricketers Dilip Vengsarkar and Chetan Chauhan among its members.

New World Record - Team All out for 3 Runs

A cricket team from Birmingham Cricket League have written its name in history of cricket after bowling out their opponents for a staggering THREE runs.

performance against Pak Pakhtoon have stunned the world as well as created a record for their league and may be a world record. This performance will be written in history of cricket and the glory goes to all players of Pioneers. Sunday in Birmingham Cricket League’s match of division 2 they bowled out their opponent Pak Pakhtoon in just 40 minutes and within 13 overs.

This a also broke the previous record of the league which was created by Friend XI, six years ago,  when they bowled out Unique Star for nine runs.

Pioneer batman Imran Majid said: “When we rang the league, they didn’t believe us. We had to take the scorecard round to the chairman.”

Last month, a news also made a blast that a Cheshire league team Hasling bowled out their opponent team Wirral FC for three runs. That was taken as a world record.

But about that Imran said “That was village cricket, where sons, fathers and grandfathers can play in the same team. I really don’t know how competitive it was.”

Despite of a nursing injury their blaster bowler Khalid Sadiq took 7 wickets in just 7 overs and the other three wickets were taken by their bowler Mazar Ali.

In their innings pioneers scored 173 runs for loss of eight wickets in 40 overs and highest scorer was Jannaid(43).

But Pak Pakhtoon started their innings after tea at 5:30 pm and on their way back at 6:10.

From the three runs which is the total score of Pak Pakhtoon 2 runs was made by Imtiaz and Zafar Ali, both made 1 run each. And the other 1 run was an extra which came from a “no ball”. The rest of their batsman all got out for 0 runs.

Imran said “Pak Pakhtoon are not a bad side, In fact, we were worried after finding out in the previous game that one of their batsman got 199, One of our players, Janaid Khan, travelled from London and was worried about catching the train back, It was just one of those games where everything clicked”

After he asked that how will they follow and keep up this form he said “How will we follow that? We never will, probably. At the end, we didn’t say anything to the opposition because we thought they might be embarrassed, but, to be fair, they were very supportive.They came over to us and said how amazing it was”

The vice chairman Amzad Aziz when asked for some comments about the performance of pioneers he described their performance as a “Freak”

He said “It’s a major surprise because only two weeks ago Pak Pakhtoon scored 300 runs and one person got over 190. It was just a freak set of circumstances”

Pak Pakhtoon players are really shattered and depressed about their defeat and laying low after the match. But they are sure they will overcome this disaster and will be shine again.
