Actress says Baahubali Is A Stupid Film

India's biggest motion picture Baahubali wowed millions of film lovers in India and abroad. The film's monstrous box-office success and its achievement in placing Tollywood on global map with its technical excellence is a matter of pride to every Telugu film lover.

But here's one actress whose detest for Baahubali has surprised everyone. Today, yesteryear Telugu heroine Jamuna stated that she stopped watching Telugu films since several years ago and that she recently watched Baahubali. "I watched Baahubali, it's a stupid film," said the senior heroine.

Jamuna further said that Baahubali's only achievement is it's technical values and nothing else and continued her criticism saying, "except its hero, Baahubali had a very poor casting. Anushka should have been made the heroine."

The actress was in no mood to be nice to the present days' films either. "Films these days are only about how many villains the heroes beat up to pulp and how well the heroines exposed on the screen," fired the senior actress.

Pawan's Heroine In An Hour Long Lip Lock

Punjabi beauty raised in Bengaluru Kriti Karbandha could not find much success even after teaming up with stars like Pawan Kalyan in Teenmaar and with Ram Charan in Bruce Lee. The actress is currently busy shooting for her Bollywood debut film Raaz 4, starring the serial kisser Emraan Hashmi.

Raaz 4's shooting is underway in Transylvania in Romania and recently, Kriti shot for a steamy lip lock scene with Emraan. Surprisingly, the serial kisser who had charmed several of his heroines, took nearly an hour to get the kissing scene right and Kriti was sportive enough to give several retakes.

Apart from this passionate scene, this horror thriller features several steamy scenes between the couple. While Emraan is looking back to get to his playboy image with this film, Kriti will be hoping to strike gold with her Bollywood debut. Apart from this film, Kriti has a couple of Tamil and Kannada films in hand.

Why you can’t quit Facebook

A recent research finds out the reasons.

If you’ve ever thought about quitting Facebook, you’re not alone. Maybe you’ve even shut down your account, swearing never to return, only to log back in a week later.

A newly published study in the journal Social Media+Society points to four themes that significantly influence the odds of returning to Facebook.

“These results show just how difficult daily decisions about social media use can be,” says Eric Baumer, an information science and communication researcher at Cornell University.

People who leave social media and then return, what the study authors term “social media reversion,” provide the opportunity to understand better what’s at stake when people use —or don’t use — sites like Facebook.

Using survey data provided by 99daysoffreedom.com — an online campaign that encouraged participants to log off Facebook for 99 days — the researchers homed in on those who made the pledge but ultimately couldn’t resist Facebook’s allure.

Perceived addiction

Those who feel that Facebook is addictive or habitual were more likely to return, according to the group’s research. One participant described this habitual aspect by saying, “In the first 10 days, whenever I opened up an internet browser, my fingers would automatically go to ‘f.’”

Privacy and surveillance
Users who felt their Face-book activity was being monitored were less likely to revert, while those who use Facebook largely to manage how other people think of them are more likely to log back in.

Subjective mood
In a good mood? You’re less likely to renege on your pledge to stay off Facebook.

Other social media
The group found that Facebook users were less likely to log back in if they had other social media outlets, like Twitter, for instance. Those who reflected on the appropriate role for technology in their social lives were more likely to revert. In many of these cases, people returned to Facebook but altered their use, for example, uninstalling the app from their phones, reducing their number of friends, or limiting the amount of time spent on the platform.

Posts can ‘infect’ you with emotion
“In addition to concerns over personal addiction, people are reluctant about corporations collecting, analysing, and potentially monetising their personal information,” says Baumer. “Facebook also serves numerous important social functions, in some cases providing the only means for certain groups to keep in touch. These results highlight the complexities involved in people’s ongoing decisions about how to use, or not use, social media.”

The team’s findings are based on more than 5,000 surveys issued to participants by Just, the Dutch creative agency that founded the 99 Days of Freedom project. These surveys were sent to project participants on days 33, 66, and 99 and were intended to gauge each user’s mood throughout the Facebook detox. A sampling of this data was then shared with the researchers.

US official sees more cyber attacks on industrial control systems

Industrial control systems are computers that control operations of industrial processes.

Miami: A US government cyber security official warned that authorities have seen an increase in attacks that penetrate industrial control system networks over the past year, and said they are vulnerable because they are exposed to the Internet.

“We see more and more that are gaining access to that control system layer," said Marty Edwards, who runs the Department of Homeland Security's Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team, or ICS-CERT.

ICS-CERT helps US firms investigate suspected cyber attacks on industrial control systems as well as corporate networks.

Interest in critical infrastructure security has surged since late last month when Ukraine authorities blamed a power outage on a cyber attack from Russia, which would make it the first known power outage caused by a cyber attack.

Experts attending the S4 conference of some 300 critical infrastructure security specialists in Miami said the incident has caused U.S. firms to ask whether their systems are vulnerable to similar incidents.

Edwards said he believed the increase in attacks was mainly because more control systems are directly connected to the Internet.

“I am very dismayed at the accessibility of some of these networks... they are just hanging right off the tubes," he said in an on-stage interview with conference organizer Dale Peterson.

Edwards did not say whether those attacks had caused any service disruptions or threatened public safety.

Sean McBride, a critical infrastructure analyst with iSight Partners who attended the talk, said the increase may reflect more publicity in recent years over risks over cyber attacks, which prompted operators to find more infections.

McBride said he could not say if the increase was troubling because he did not know the intent of the attackers.

Edwards and a DHS spokesman declined to elaborate on his comments.

ICS-CERT said in an alert this week that it had identified malware used in the attack in Ukraine as BlackEnergy 3, a variant of malware that the agency said in 2014 had infected some U.S. critical infrastructure operators.

A DHS official said on Tuesday that government investigators have not confirmed whether the BlackEnergy malware caused the Ukraine incident.

"At this time there is no definitive evidence linking the power outage in Ukraine with the presence of the malware," said the official, who was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

Edwards did not discuss the Ukraine attack during his talk.
