A 35 years old priest of a temple has been arrested by South Mumbai Police for allegedly raping and blackmailing 38 years old lady. The accused was arrested yesterday and identified as Prem Singh Parmar. According to the Police, Prem Singh first was earlier working for a temple in Cotton Green area , become friendly with the lady who used to made his visit the temple, he called her to his house in 2013 for offering special Prasad. When she came, he gave Prasad to drink but very soon she became unconscious and he snapped her nude photographs. Prem Singh started to rape her since then while threatening her to show the pictures to her in laws. According to the police, accused used to send abusive text message to the woman and raping her since 2013. Finally the woman informed it to her husband and filed the complaint at Gamdevi police station last night. Prem Singh has been booked under various sections of IPC including rape, criminal intimidation and outraging modesty of a woman.
